I've never seen a more resilient child than my son. He has met every day of his battle with cancer with a brave face, strong heart and one big smile. This journey has brought us fears, tears, hope and endless love from family, friends and strangers. I have seen his story inspire others and I know that God chose this very special little boy for something much bigger than all of us. Cancer, you have met your match. I have prayed every day for our lives to go back to normal, but it never will. This is our new normal. Chemotherapy, bloodwork, surgeries and proton radiation, it is now our way of life. We will live each day to the next, and as always, with a BIG smile on our faces. So thank you God for giving my son, my superhero. This is a battle we will win.
